Dear Wanchain Community,
June has been an incredible month for Wanchain, bringing along many new integrations including new chains and new tokens, ecosystem updates, and lots of media coverage. Most importantly, June has marked an important milestone for Wanchain as we saw the introduction of the brand new Convert n’ Burn mechanism, which includes many benefits for the Wanchain ecosystem, as well as long term support for Wanchain’s bridges. Without further ado, let’s dive right in!
Convert N’ Burn - The Unification Era Has Arrived
Introducing Wanchain Bridge’s New Convert N’ Burn Mechanism - Now Live!
Wanchain’s new revolutionary Convert n’ burn mechanism is a vital component to unify the Wanchain ecosystem and support long term development and growth of Wanchain’s decentralised cross-chain bridges.
This new mechanism is now live, and the bridge fees collected will be split as follows:
40% for the Community Treasury
30% for Ongoing Operations
10% distributed to Bridge nodes and Delegators
10% distributed to PoS Nodes and Delegators
10% will be Burned
Some major benefits of this new mechanism include:
Increased demand for WAN coin
Maximum Wanchain ecosystem support
A community treasury to empower the Wanchain community
New burn mechanism reduces the WAN supply with every bridge transaction
Increased incentives for nodes and delegators which bolsters security and safety
New utility for WAN, since the more WAN you hold, the bigger your discount on fees
Supports long term development of Wanchains bridges
