Top updates from the month of September!
Dear Wanchain Community,
September has been a big month for the Wanchain ecosystem! Some exciting updates this month include new bridge upgrades, new block explorers launched, ecosystem updates including the launch of ZooRacers Beta, and much more. Let’s get started!
Introducing XFlows: A Wanchain Bridge Upgrade
XFlows is an upgrade to Wanchain’s bridges which adds support for native-to-native USDT crosschain transfers. This means that users can use WanBridge to seamlessly bridge native USDT between Ethereum, BNB Chain, OKC, Polygon & Arbitrum. Tron and Avalanche C-Chain support is currently under development and will be added soon.
XFlows also introduces a major innovation that combines both the lock-mint-burn-unlock and liquidity pool methods. This means the USDT that is locked on a source chain before minting wrapped-USDT on a destination chain doubles as the liquidity powering native-to-native USDT crosschain transfers. Fully decentralized crosschain liquidity that is owned and powered by the people!

The Merge: Wanchain Bridge Node Upgrade
The Wanchain bridge nodes underwent an upgrade in preparation for the Ethereum Merge which was highly successful. The Wanchain bridges went back online shortly after the merge upgrade took place, returning to full functionality without issue. You can read more about the node upgrade here.
New Wanchain blockchain explorer now available!
In addition to Wanscan.org, Wanchain users can now visit Wan.BlocksScan.io or WanExplorer.io to search for any blocks or transactions on the Wanchain blockchain. Blocksscan adds a plethora of new features which we highlighted in the thread below.

Wanchain Ecosystem Updates
ZooKeeper’s ZooGames and ZooRacers BETA launched!
ZooGames is the platform on which users can create their ZooGamesID and link all their addresses containing ZooNFTs. It acts as the hub for all games on ZooKeeper, allowing users to interact with their accounts and manage all their ZooBoosters and ZooGenes for use in-game. ZooGames also grant users access to ZooKeeper’s very first blockchain gaming BETA: ZooRacers BattleKarts.

New Wanchain ecosystem DeFi integrations
→ Wanchain-bridged assets can now be used on CherrySwap🍒, an AMM DEX on OKC Network, see here.
→ WanBridge is now tracked on DeFiLlama, see here.
→ Wanchain blockchain added to DEXTools, see here.
→ WanLend's portfolio is now tracked on DeBank, see here.

Wanchain at the Token 2049 event in Singapore
Wanchain’s Director of Marketing, Temujin Louie, flew out to Singapore to network with some of the industry leaders at the Token 2049 event. If you attended, you may have been lucky enough to grab one of the secret Wanchain USBs containing a link to a secret hidden page!
