First off, Happy Halloween! The month of October has been filled with many spooky updates across the Wanchain ecosystem including bridge node upgrades that supercharge XRPL interoperability by adding crosschain support for XRPL tokens, a new crosschain NFT bridge, ZooRacers Beta v2 release, a trip to Blockchain Expo North America and much more!
Introducing Crosschain XRPL Tokens: A Wanchain Bridge Upgrade
In April 2021, the Wanchain team launched the world’s first decentralised $XRP bridge, allowing $XRP holders to finally set their $XRP free and put them to work in the world of DeFi. The latest WanBridge upgrade has added crosschain support for XRPL tokens allowing users to move these tokens across different chains. The first batch of crosschain XRPL tokens include $xBIBLx, $XList, $NVL and $GZX. You can find out more about this upgrade, here.

Introducing Crosschain NFTs: A Wanchain Bridge Upgrade
Earlier this year, NFTs, largely representing ownership of digital art pieces, fully captured the peoples’ imaginations and NFTs are now a fundamental component of the mainstream audience’s understanding of blockchain technology itself. Now, the Wanchain team is happy to announce that Wanchain’s bridges have undergone an upgrade adding crosschain support for NFTs. This means that NFT crosschain transfers between Wanchain, Ethereum, XDC Network, BNB Chain & Polygon are now possible!
The first wave of crosschain NFT support includes DØP3 Club NFTs and ZooKeeper’s ZooGenes. Marketplace support includes XDCNFT and XDSEA.

Wanchain Ecosystem Updates
ZooRacers Beta v2 has gone live!
ZooRacers Beta v2 launched on the 24th of October and will end on the 3rd of November 2022. Beta v2 includes incentives for players who help test the new version.
